This May 16th, Clark County comes together for one of the Pacific Northwest’s most cherished traditions — and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of it.

EVENT DETAILS: Hazel Dell Parade of Bands — May 16, 2026
Starting on Hazel Dell Ave. to Highway 99, Vancouver, WA • Arrive early — it fills up fast!
There are events you attend, and then there are events you feel. The Hazel Dell Parade of Bands has always been the latter. The moment the first drumline turns the corner and the crowd erupts, something shifts — you remember why you live here, why community matters, and why some traditions are absolutely worth protecting.
This year’s theme captures that feeling perfectly.
2026 OFFICIAL THEME
“Honoring Our Nation, Celebrating Our Neighbors”
May 16, 2026 • Hazel Dell, Vancouver WA
It’s hard to think of a more fitting theme for this moment. We live in a time when it means more than ever to pause, look around, and appreciate both the country we call home and the people right next door. That’s exactly what the Hazel Dell Parade has always done — and this year, it’s doing it with intention.
A Tradition Decades in the Making
The Hazel Dell Parade of Bands started in 1964 as a community-driven initiative to provide local high school marching bands a place to perform, primarily organized by the local "99 Strip" business association and residents. It didn’t become one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest parades by accident. For decades, it has been the heartbeat of Clark County’s spring season — a celebration that draws school bands, drill teams, color guards, equestrian units, and community floats from across Washington and Oregon.
What started as a local gathering rooted in showcasing student talent has grown into an event that routinely draws over 100 performing groups and tens of thousands of spectators. Families stake out their spots on the curb the night before. Kids perch on their parents’ shoulders to catch a glimpse of the color guard. Local businesses fly their flags. It is, simply put, Clark County at its best.
The parade has always honored the young performers at its center — the students who practice through rain and cold, who memorize their formations, who show up for their communities with every step they march. That spirit of dedication and pride runs straight through this year’s theme.
“Honoring Our Nation, Celebrating Our Neighbors” — because the two have never been separate things.
Why Hampton Auto Glass Is All In
We’re not just a windshield company. We’re a Clark County company. Our team lives here, our families go to school here, and our customers are the same people we see at the hardware store, at the youth soccer fields, and — yes — lining the parade route on a beautiful May morning.
Supporting the Hazel Dell Parade is an easy decision for us, because the theme “Honoring Our Nation, Celebrating Our Neighbors” is something we believe in every single day. Every technician on our team takes pride in the work they do for the people in this community. We don’t cut corners because our customers are our neighbors — and our neighbors deserve the best.
That’s true whether we’re replacing a windshield, calibrating an ADAS system, or simply showing up to cheer alongside you on May 16th.
Come Out & Celebrate With Us
If you haven’t been to the Hazel Dell Parade before, this is your year. Grab a lawn chair, bring the whole family, and find your spot along Highway 99 or Hazel Dell Ave early — because by the time the first band steps off, the curbs are packed. The atmosphere is electric, the performances are incredible, and the sense of community pride is something you genuinely cannot manufacture.
And when it’s over and you’re driving home with your heart a little fuller than when you arrived — if that windshield needs some attention — Hampton Auto Glass is right here in Clark County, ready to take care of you the same way this community has always taken care of us.
